The truth of it all is that most managers will drop off when they read the next sentence, which, oddly enough, further proves the point.

 

If you want to raise a lot of money stop prioritizing performance. 

 

I know, I have a lot of work to do in a very short amount of time to convince you of this.  Surprisingly, I can do it in just two sentences.

 

If you take 10 minutes to think beyond “performance” you might come up with an idea that will differentiate you.  And the only way you are going to stand out in the crowd is if you are different.
